JustBrowser vs Octo Browser

A side-by-side comparison of JustBrowser and Octo Browser, two multi-account browsers: what a team pays on each, and how their features and engines differ.

Pricing

JustBrowser is one price — $9.99/month, or $99.99/year — with unlimited profiles and unlimited teammates. Octo Browser prices in euros by plan tier: around €79/month for 100 profiles on their Base plan, which has no team members. A team means their Team plan at around €169/month, which includes 3 team members besides the account owner; more cost €25/month each, up to 6. So for 100 profiles and 3 teammates the comparison is roughly €169/month against our $9.99/month. Their prices exclude VAT.

Octo Browser figures read from their pricing page and their documentation on 5 November 2026. Monthly billing; they also advertise a lower annual rate. Prices change — check theirs before deciding.

Octo Browser has no free plan; their FAQ says new users are occasionally offered a trial on request. JustBrowser gives you 7 days of the full product to try, with a card on file so nothing stops when the trial ends.

Browser Engine

JustBrowser uses a custom Chromium build, patched at the C++ source level and rebuilt as upstream Chromium moves, and runs Firefox profiles in real Firefox. Octo Browser runs Octium, its own Chromium-based kernel, which they say they update as quickly as possible after Chrome. Their site and documentation name no Firefox-based engine.

Where Octo Browser Leads

Octo Browser has a Linux build that also runs headless in Docker or Kubernetes, Octo Mobile, an app for iOS and Android that runs and switches profiles on the phone, and a VPN per profile as an alternative to proxies. Those are Octo Browser's descriptions of their product; we have not tested them.

Where JustBrowser Leads

JustBrowser is one flat price with unlimited profiles and free team seats, where Octo Browser keeps team members to its Team and Advanced plans and charges for each one past those a plan includes. The REST API comes with JustBrowser's one plan, where Octo Browser starts it at Base, and JustBrowser's Firefox profiles run real Firefox.
