JustBrowser vs Hidemium

A side-by-side comparison of JustBrowser and Hidemium, two multi-account browsers: what a team pays on each, and how their features and engines differ.

Pricing

JustBrowser is one price — $9.99/month, or $99.99/year — with unlimited profiles and unlimited teammates. Hidemium prices its cloud plans by profile count, paid every 30 days in their app: from $15/month for 30 profiles on Basic, and around $20/month for 100 profiles on Advanced, with 1 team member. Their plans list 1 team member on Basic and Advanced, 10 on Premium and 20 on Business, but their site publishes no price for a team member and does not say whether one can be added to a plan, so whether a cheaper plan can take 3 teammates cannot be stated from it; the first published plan with room for them is Premium.

Hidemium figures read from their pricing page on 5 November 2026. Monthly billing; they also advertise a lower annual rate. Prices change — check theirs before deciding.

Their pricing page shows the yearly prices first, 15% lower, and says its prices are for reference only: their app shows the exact ones and is the only place to pay, and their release notes add 20% tax to payments made through Stripe. Hidemium also has a free plan with 5 profiles that does not expire and asks for no card, their FAQ offers a 3-day trial with 1,000 profiles, and separate local plans keep unlimited profiles on your computer. JustBrowser gives you 7 days of the full product to try, with a card on file so nothing stops when the trial ends.

Browser Engine

JustBrowser uses a custom Chromium build, patched at the C++ source level and rebuilt as upstream Chromium moves, and runs Firefox profiles in real Firefox. Hidemium runs a Chromium-based core, "Hidemium 155" on their download page, and added a Firefox browser in November 2025, announced for its Windows app only and at first without extensions, automation or the custom-profile API; none of their pages says it has reached macOS.

Where Hidemium Leads

Hidemium has a free plan that does not expire, a 3-day trial with 1,000 profiles, local plans with unlimited profiles, no-code automation with AI prompt scripts that run tasks through ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, an MCP server, automation campaigns and schedules through its local API, a synchronizer in which one main window drives the other profiles, and member accounts that see only the folders, tags or statuses the owner picks, each with its own create, edit, delete and share permissions. Those are Hidemium's descriptions of their product; we have not tested them.

Where JustBrowser Leads

JustBrowser is one flat price with unlimited profiles and free team seats, where Hidemium's cloud plans cap profiles and team members by tier and its site prices no added member. JustBrowser's cloud sync has no storage cap, its Firefox profiles run real Firefox on Windows and Apple Silicon Macs alike, and it supports Selenium as well as Playwright and Puppeteer, where Hidemium's pages name Puppeteer and Playwright.
